Ways to Prepare your Catch
Captain Phil’s favorite
Deep Fried fish
Season filets ( I still like “slap ya mama”)
Roll fish in Zatarains’s seasoned fish fry
Place fish in hot oil
Fish Tacos
Use blackened fish recipe (below)
Use your favorite topping
Place in your favorite shell
Blackened Fish
Drizzle evoo in skillet (cast iron)
Squeeze lemon juice on filets
Season (Your choice. I use “slap ya mama” )
Place filet in hot skillet
Add a pat of butter
Filets will turn white when done (only a few minuets per side)
Baked Fish
Preheat oven 400*
Squeeze lemon juice on filets
Season (your choice I use “slap ya mama”)
Place a pat of butter on each filetCook
15-20 minutes (depending on size cook longer for larger filets)
Take out of oven about 5 minutes before done
Add topping place back in oven for the remainder of time.
Topping For Baked Fish
1 C. Mayonaise
1 C. shredded cheese
1 Tbs hot sauce
Mix ingredients together
